Lao San ((Liu Ye) was injured in a daring rescue mission. Henceforth, he is struck mentally and honourably discharged from the navy. After retired, he firmly believed that he was a Force against evil. His girlfriend Daffodil (Liu Yang) and the Police Commissar Lao Jiang (You Yong) worried about him. The national treasure ?Yue Fei?s spear? would go on exhibition which caught the attention of the criminal boss Rong (Anthony Wong) from Hong Kong. Rong made friends with Lao San and exploiting his naivety, used him to divert the attention of Commissar Lao Jiang away from himself. On the day of exhibition, Rong and his girlfriend Nancy (Ellen Chan) broke into the exhibition hall and held the visitors as hostages. Just when Rong was about to run away with the spear, Lao Jiang and the police besieged the hall. Lao San also came to the rescue of the hostages. A fight unto death among these three men ensued?
