After winning a bronze medal in weight lifting at the 1988 Olympics, claiming
that the only things that remain for a weight lifter are injuries and bulging
muscles. LEE Ji-bong (LEE Beom-soo) is forced to come down to a small country
village as the coach. The six country girls are all unique in personality and
physique, but LEE Ji-bong gets touched by the innocent girls’ passion and
dedication to the sport . He stars training them. Sharting off on solid ground
with bamboo tree poles, they mature into real weight lifting althletes with LEE
Ji-bong’s help and eventually take on the challenge of an Olympic gold medal…
and the miraclous legend they make!
